When developing composite parts, the design is carried out assuming that the strength and
stiffness will be reduced after absorbing moisture during long-term operation. However, it is
difficult to simulate the moisture absorption conditions at the time of development and evaluation
in a short amount of time, and generally moisture absorption is carried out over a long time in a
high-humidity environment. This paper presents a new accelerated moisture absorption method for
shortening the evaluation period of composite materials.
