In recent years, along with the advancement of sensors and cloud network technologies as well as cost reductions, the IoT (Internet of Things) has been spreading rapidly, and networking of facilities and equipment in production sites for data collection and visualization are becoming common. Since 2016, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has provided remote diagnosis and operation monitoring system services by connecting plant equipment to the cloud by wireless terminals using MHI's proprietary IoT platform DIASCOPE®. This report introduces the actual use examples and the advanced functions of this system.
