24-hour use of lead-acid-battery-powered forklift trucks is difficult. As it takes a long time to charge a lead acid battery, the 24-hour use of lead-acid-battery-powered forklift trucks is realized by replacing the battery during the operating period. However, battery replacement work is dangerous, a work space is required, and time loss occurs during the work. Therefore, improvements have been demanded from many customers. Against such a background, we developed a counterbalanced forklift truck equipped with a lithium ion battery that can be ultra-rapidly charged. This paper presents the developed forklift truck.
