下水汚泥用新型高性能流動炉の開発

次世代型の下水汚泥焼却炉として,下水汚泥に特化した外部循環型の新型高性能流動炉を開発し,実証試験を行った.本流動炉は従来型の流動炉に比べて,(1)炉床水分負荷約4倍,(2)炉出口排ガス中のダイオキシン類,CO,NOX,N2O,SOX等を大幅に削減可能,(3)低空気比燃焼により排ガス処理設備等のコンパクト化が可能,(4)炉内脱硫により排ガス処理設備の簡略化が可能,といった特徴があり,実証試験により従来型炉をしのぐ性能を確認した.
A high-performance sewage sludge incinerator has been developed using a circulating fluidized bed. Demonstration testing verified that (1) water evaporation rate in the bed is about 4 times that for the conventional incinerator, (2) emissions of pollutants at the incinerator outlet were dramatically reduced, (3) the size of the flue gas treatment system is reduced due to the low air ratio, and (4) flue gas treatment is simplified by de.SOX with CaCO3 in the incinerator.
