路面性状測定車の開発

道路舗装の維持・管理のため定期的に路面性状の調査が行われている.従来,路面性状の調査は機械式測定器具やスケッチ等の人手で行われてきた.近年,電子技術の発達により路面性状を非接触で走行しながら自動的に測定可能な路面性状測定車が開発され用いられている.しかし,その測定速度はおおむね時速60km程度であり,高速化が望まれていた.そこで,時速100kmという高速で測定可能な路面性状測定車を開発した.現在,その高速性を生かし全国の高速道路及び有料道路で稼働中である.
Road surfaces are inspected regularly for road pavement maintenance. Mechanicalmeasuring tools and sketching method have long been in use as a means of investigationroad surfaces. Electronic technology has been developing in recent years, and road surfacemeasuring vehicles that can automatically measure the road surface in non-contact mode asthey are traveling have been developed. The measuring speed, however, was only about 60 kmper hour, so it was thought that the measuring speed could be improved. Therefore, we havedeveloped a road surface measuring vehicle that can measure up to speeds of 100 km perhour. Now, it has been put into practical use on highways.
