Introduction of 145MW Coal Firing Plant

近年,150MW級発電設備が数多く計画されているが,現在試運転中である(株)神戸製鋼所加古川製鉄所第7号発電設備は様々な技術を採用した145MW微粉炭だき設備である.ボイラにおいては初採用である分割型A-PM (Pollution Minimum) バーナを含めCUF (Circular U-shaped Flame), MACT (Mitsubishi Advanced Combustion Technology) 等を採用し,安定,高効率でかつ低NOX燃焼性能を得ている.また,蒸気タービンにおいては,このクラスでは初めて単車室再熱タービン及び軸流排気等を採用し,コンパクトで高効率な性能を得ている.その他様々な最新技術を適用し,全体プラントとして高い信頼性及びランニングコスト低減を実現した.本報ではこれら新技術を含めた設備計画概要を紹介する.
MHI has delivered a coal firing power plant consisting of a 450 t/h coal firing boilerand a 145 MW steam turbine to kakogawa works of Kobe steel, Ltd. The main design featuresof this plant are : (1) Higher combustion efficiency and a lowered NOX coal firing system: An advanced type PM burner (A-PM burner), which was developed from original technologyof PM (Pollution Minimum) burner, was applied. An A-PM burner has simple constructionfeatures and therefore provides good operationability and maintenanceability. The A-PMburner combined with the CUF (Circular U-shaped Flame) and MACT (Mitsubishi AdvancedCombustion Technology) systems, have higher combustion efficiency and lower NOX emissioncharacteristics. (2) Single casing reheat steam turbine (SRT): Single casing reheat steamturbine (SRT) has been applied. SRT exhibits compact and simple construction, which hasprovides advantages for a compact layout and a shorter maintenance period. Axial exhaustsystem has been also applied to improve steam turbine performance, and to reduce theheight of the turbine foundation. This paper presents an outline of the plan of coalfiring plant.
