TENYO

The "TENYO" for MINNOW MARITIMA S.A., one of the four new double hull VLCCs of the NIPPON YUSEN KAISHA (NYK LINE), was delivered on August 31, 2000 at the Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI)
The "TENYO" is the new generation double hull VLCC satisfying the size limitations of main Japanese tanker berths and securing the cargo carrying capability of over two million barrels.
The ship achieved low noise and vibration level in the accommodation spaces by the latest MHI's ship designing and shipbuilding technologies.
For keeping high level of safety navigation, Integrated Bridge System (IBS) is provided and is applied for the classification requirement of 溺0・
