MHI is proposing a series of new concepts in compact chemical processing equipment by integrating a variety of laboratory instruments conventionally used in chemistry experiments with its unique process design, device design, and production technologies, allowing their application to experimental equipment, pilot plants, and small-lot production equipment.
These concepts have been implemented using MHI's M-iPIS (Mitsubishi Integrated Piping & Instrument System).
By gathering functionality ranging from processes to control into a single compact piece of equipment, this approach has enabled the application of these technologies to equipment under new concepts that differ from other portable or wall-mounted systems.
