Reactor Internals
Fuel assemblies are arranged in cylindrical geometry in the reactor vessel.
To position these nuclear fuel assemblies, a support structure is installed in the reactor, which is called the reactor internals.
This structure broadly consists of the upper reactor internals and the lower reactor internals.
