No.2 settling basin overflow conduit automatic cleaning device
Every day at a certain time this device
automatically runs inside the settling basin of the sewage treatment
plant and removes the algae and slime growing or attached on the overflow
conduit. This is the device newly developed in Japan.
The conduit cleaning work is made with fully automated machines.
The
cleaning work using human hands is one of "3K works" ("kitsui" ? hard,
"kitanai" ? dirty, and "kiken" ? dangerous works) workers do not like.
Besides, the degree of the danger of cleaning work by hand is very high!
