Mitsubishi Biomass-Coal System

We, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully constructed the first commercial biomass-coal plant in Japanese market in 2007. Carbonized fuel produced from sewage sludge by Mitsubishi biomass-coal system can be utilized as alternative fuel to coal, and co-fired with coal in the coal firing power plant.
