MFT-8

Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Appears on MHI's Product Line
MFT-8 is a three-shaft aeroderivative engine consisting of a TPM's GG-8 gas generator and MHI's new power turbine. The light weight and compact power turbine was developed by MHI with the abundant experience accumulated through the development of the 501F/701F and MF series heavey duty gas turbines. The proven technology incorporated in the power turbines delivers superior versatility and reliability.
