In recent aircraft, shipbuilding, and vehicle industries, the comfort of occupants - to say nothing of performance improvement in conveyances themselves - becomes a big concern.
In particular, it is necessary to analyze driver's behavior characteristics in detail for achieving a next-generation transportation system (ITS - Intelligent Transportation System). Therefore, as means of investigating and evaluating it, various projects developing sophisticated simulators for vehicles have been deployed.
