ENGINEERING WORKSTATION(EWS)

TThe Engineering Workstation (EWS) is a POL (Problem Oriented Language) based computer system offering easy maintenance of plant control logic without any special programming knowledge. Its innovative windowing and graphic display functions make it remarkably user-friendly.
Control logic is created on the CRT screen using DIASYS-IDOL. Operation menus provide for outstanding ease in creating logic diagrams, converting diagrams to loop data, and transmitting the loop data to the PCS. Control logic can be built using standard control elements.
The EWS is also permits on-line monitoring of the control status by displaying trends and monitoring their logic. Powerful, real-time monitoring functions make it possible to locate and debug logic errors with optimum speed and efficiency.
