CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler)

Features

• Multiple Fuel
• CFB can fire solid / liquid / gas fuel, such as bituminous coal, brown coal, anthracite coal, wood, paper sludge, RDF, waste tire, heavy oil, etc. Also, combustion efficiency is pretty high.

• Low NOx, Low SOx
• As combustion temperature in the furnace is as low as 850 to 900 degree C, thermal NOx generation is minimum. By adoption of two staged air supply, NOx becomes lower than 100 ppm.
  By feeding lime stone in the furnace, SOx is removed by the following reaction:
  
  
  Furnace temperature is kept in the optimum range for the reaction even in low load by changing particle flow rate through FBHE (Fluidized Bed Heat Exchanger).
