Micromorph Tandem PV Modules Installed at Huis Ten Bosch
MHI’s Micromorph Tandem PV modules have been installed in the Next-Generation Energy Park* of Nagasaki’s Huis Ten Bosch theme park.
A total of 900kW was installed on the roofs of the historical national arrival/departure building, parking lot, wellness center, etc. These will supply 2% to 3% of the total annual electricity used at Huis Ten Bosch facilities. This is the largest solar power generation system in Japan using Micromorph Tandem PV modules (thin film type).
* "Next-Generation Energy Park" is a nationally certified facility which creates more opportunities to actually "see and touch" new energies such as solar cells, as a local base to promote wider understanding of future next generation energies in harmony with the global environment.Currently,13 Generation Enargy Parks have been approved in Japan.
