Delivery of biomass power plant is completed for Iwaki Daio Paper

Delivery of the biomass power plant for Iwaki Daio Paper was completed smoothly in November 2008.
This power plant uses a high efficiency (high temperature, high pressure) circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFB) firing biomass and waste as fuel, such as wood fuel, tire chips, RPF, sludge, and screen waste. This boiler is MHI’s 12th CFB since its first coal-fired CFB delivery in 1989.

Iwaki Daio Paper is striving to make global environment conservation a priority, producing 100% recycled paper products, etc. This is a main boiler for the customer, an environment-friendly power generating facility which reduces CO2 generation and supports the customer’s production facility.
