Construction on a coal fired power plant for MCM Energy Service Corporation is completed
On April 4, a ceremony was held for the completion of construction of a coal fired power plant for MCM Energy Service Corporation (within the Mazda Plant in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture).
This power plant is comprised of one 220 ton/h coal fired boiler and two 24.9MW steam turbines and generators. One of the generators will supply power within the Mazda Plant and the other will be for outside sales of power, with the power plant also serving to supply steam for within the Mazda Plant.
While this plant already contains existing coal fired power plant, improvements of the supply capacity for power and steam are planned through the current addition of this power plant. In addition, it will also be utilized for the duty of newly supplying stable power for outside sales.
