As of February 1st, MHI has restructured its power business, a major sector for the company, to bolster operations in this particular field. The company has conducted an overhaul of the various aspects of the business, which have tended to be scattered and to overlap between the power systems Headquarters (located at head office) and the various works, with a view to attaining better efficiency through integrated operations.

MHI Power Systems Headquarters, until now located at MHI head office, will here with be transferred to the MHI Yokohama Building(Minatomirai 3-3-1, Nishi-ku, Yokohama-city 220-8401 Japan).
