126.6MW steam turbine plant was transferred to Veracel in Brazil

Transfer of 126.6MW steam turbine plant to Veracel Celulose S.A. has been completed on September 2, 2005. The project was the construction of the whole pulp mill with utilization of eucalyptus, which is one of the world largest plants. The plant was constructed in completely untouched areas in Bahia state, Brazil and MHI had received the order of steam turbine package, including civil and erection work, which is one of 17 packages in this project. MHI had accomplished to shorten the delivery period and was awarded from the customer as a distinguished supplier for their great efforts and contribution. The plant was inaugurated in the presence of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on September 28, 2005.
