On April 26, a Shinto ceremony for construction site purification was held at Rengo Co., Ltd. Amagasaki Works prior to the installation of a gas engine (18MACH-30G×1 unit, 5,500 kW) provided by MHI.

Numerous officials from Rengo and Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony to pray for the safe installation of the gas engine power plant.
Osaka gas will run the power plant as an energy service company (ESCO) to supply electricity and steam to the Rengo Amagasaki Works, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions and cutting energy costs.
MHI will work to ensure a high-quality product is delivered safely and on time, to the satisfaction of the customer.
