    Diesel engine and Marine machinery orders received at high level

  • Stationary diesel engines: Order for 48 units (Includes 39 MACH Gas Engines, Accumulated (From 2001) top 100 unit mark)
  • Marine-use boilers; order for, 46 units
  • MET turbo charger; 810 units ordered (New one-year record)
  • Marine-use diesels: First UEC Eco-Engine (8UEC60LS II-Eco) completed

    China: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dongfang Gas Turbine (Guangzhou) Co, Ltd. established

  • The Dongfang Steam Turbine Works and MHI established a Joint Venture for High Temperature Parts of M701F Gas Turbine.

    MHI Plant-use integrated control system “Netmation” adoption increasing

  • Shipment of DIASYS control panels reaches 708 sets/year (Includes Netmation panels, 623 units)
  • Start-up of adoption of Netmation for gas engine and package boiler products
  • 2004 Linux Conference Award for MHI Netmation

    New Energy-related business activities expand

  • Solar Battery Division activities expanded and fuel cell development advances
