Higashida Cogene. Corporation held a ground-breaking ceremony for its MACH-30G gas engine power generation plant in Japan

On March 6th, the Higashida Cogene. Corporation held a ground-breaking ceremony for its gas engine power generation plant at Nippon Steel Corporation Yahata Works, where MHI will deliver six MACH-30G gas engines.
This plant will be leased to Nippon Steel, who will operate the engine plant and deliver the generated electrical power to customers in the Higashida and Maeda regions of Kitakyushu city, in line with the power delivery deregulation for International Special Logistic Zone authorized by the Japanese government.
The commencement of this plant operation is scheduled to start from February, 2005.
