On October 10th, a ceremony to commemorate the completion of two 220 MW coal-fired power plants of Okinawa Electric Co. Inc's Kin power station was held at Naha-City, Okinawa. The No. 1 plant began operations on February 22th last year and the No. 2 plant on May 16th this year. MHI were present and were presented with letters of appreciation for significant contributions in the construction and installation of the No. 1 and No. 2 boilers (Steam capacity ; 660 t/h) at the power plant.
