Nippon Petroleum Refining Co., Ltd., Muroran New 99MW power-generating facilities construction work starts


Completion plan

On May 9th, 2002 in connection with Nippon Petroleum Refining Co.’s activities as an IPP, a Project initiation ceremony was carried out during which hopes were expressed for safe and successful installation of new boiler and electric power generating turbine facilities at the Muroran Refining operations of Nippon Petroleum Refining Co., Ltd.
At the ceremony, the Manager of the Muroran Refining operation made the following remarks: “With the completion of this Project, our company will become a more complete and comprehensive energy company. I sincerely wish that MHI will provide us with high quality products.”
As the Project proceeds toward completion in October 2004, MHI will, as always, do its best to go forward without accidents or other calamities and combine to its best efforts to deliver to the customer products at a quality level that they will be completely satisfied with.
