Mitsubishi Power Systems, Inc.(MPS) celebrates the opening of our new Orlando Service Center facility March 14, 2002.

Mitsubishi's most recognizable U.S. motto is "A NEW POWER SOURCE FOR THE AMERICAS, IN THE AMERICAS". On March 14, 2002, Mitsubishi inaugurated its newly completed 120,000 square foot component repair and component manufacturing facility. The dedication ceremony demonstrates Mitsubishi's deep financial commitment to U.S. and Western Hemisphere customers to be a long term "local hub" of service capability bringing the quality and discipline that the symbol of the three diamonds signifies.

This state-of-the-art turbine service and component manufacturing center located in Central Florida provides comprehensive repair, manufacturing and engineering services for Mitsubishi's installed fleet of gas and steam turbines in the western hemisphere and western Europe.

In addition to component repair and manufacturing, the Orlando Service Center provides a broad menu of customer support activities including combustion turbine and steam turbine outage planning and management, support for long term service contracts, combustion turbine parts inventory, remote monitoring and expert diagnostics and operator training, as well as performance upgrades to aging steam turbines.

Over 300 of Mitsubishi's customers, partners and the media attended the celebration, which included presentations, facility tours and a unique dining experience. Several dignitaries officially opened the event including Ray Gilley, President and CEO, Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission; O. Wakazono, Member, Board of Directors and Deputy General Manager, Mitsubishi Power Systems Headquarters; N. Fuseya, President and CEO; H. Ponce, Executive Vice President and D.
