On September 19, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.(MHI) acquired FAC from the client (China National Technical Import and Export Co.,) for the second unit of Sanhe coal fired power plant (2 x 350 MW) located in Sanhe, Heibei province, China, that is 70 km east of Beijing. The project was ordered to MHI in October 1996, and its first unit acquired FAC this May. The acquisition of FAC for the second unit this September finalizes guarantee period of this project. The client appreciates MHI’s efforts and cooperation in the past five years. The power plant supplies electricity to the Beijing centered north china area. With its stable operation, it is regarded as the best power plant in the region and one of the best-known model plants in China.  |
