New Service Organization of Power Systems Established |

With a view to providing the best-quality services to its customers worldwide, on April 1, 2001, MHI started operations at its newly established Power Systems Service Development Department. The new department is dedicated solely to the service business for MHI power systems.
In January 2000, MHI had created a service division inside the organization of the existing department with the goal of strengthening its commitment to services for customers worldwide. The decision to form a separate department is clearer evidence of the Company's efforts.
In every area of the power systems business, service is becoming more and more important to customers. This is also the case for an original equipment manufacturer such as MHI.
The Company's target is for customers and MHI to devise a style of win/win business through a strengthened commitment, closer ties and mutual discussions with customers. Such activities will ultimately lead to improved customer satisfaction. The new department is staffed with experienced personnel with both technical and commercial expertise. These people will bring various ideas to develop the possibility to solve customer problems and give form to their ideas.
MHI hopes that the services of the Power Systems Service Development Department will be more creative and customer-oriented, offering high quality cost competitiveness.
