  • Reopening of Ocean Zone and Technology Quest Zone
    Ocean Zone and Technology Quest Zone will reopen on Saturday, January 9, 2010.
    The new sections, Minatomirai Oceanic Research Center and Hyper Mecha Harbor, will join the Ocean Zone and the Technology Quest Zone respectively.
  • Revolving Exhibition of the Ocean and Ships
    Period of exhibition: From Saturday, January 9, 2010 to Sunday, March 14, 2010
    Exhibition summary: Introducing the wonders of the ocean and ships with exhibitions such as "The Ocean's Lavatory," "Comparing the Heights of Marine Life," and "Evolving Vessels".

  • Future Factory Wins Good Design Award
    The Future Factory, an experience-based exhibit set up in the Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum in January this year, has won the Good Design Award 2009, granted by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
    The Future Factory is a new type of experience-based exhibit where visitors cooperate with each other and create an item by assembling the digital parts that appear on the table full of special tricks. We hope you will try it for yourself if you are visiting the museum.
