Production History

1939 Started manufacturing lathes and became the leading lathe manufacturer in Japan (Hiroshima Plant).
1944 Started manufacturing aircraft engines and engine valves (Kyoto Plant).
1953 Developed Japan's first transfer line for mass-production
1960 Completed Mitsubishi-Innocenti CWB milling, boring & combined machine
1962 Completed the first Mitsubishi Lorenz hobbing machine
1963 Completed the worm reducers for machine tools.
1968 Completed the horizontal machining center Diamatic MPA series.
1980 Completed Japan's first NC hobbing machine GH400NC.
1983 Completed Japan's first NC cylindrical grinder A6G/P6G.
1985 Completed the Planomailling machine M-VR series, a vertical machining center that employed the combined processing method.
1986 Completed the Supermiller, one of the world's largest super-large combined milling machines (column width 13 meters, total weight 13 tons).
1997 Completed the world's first dry-cut gear cutting system.
2005 Developed the world's first room-temperature MEMS wafer bonding technologies and system.
