High-performance Reactor Coolant Pump
The reactor coolant pumps for the APWR plants have achieved high capacity and high efficiency through drastic design improvements of the impeller and diffuser configurations. A new type of shaft seal and low alloy steel casing is applied to pursue a long service life and the reliability.
