To further improve the safety of the nuclear power plant, a wide variety of measures are taken for the safety significant equipments(the reactor vessel, reactor internals, control rod drive mechanism, steam generator and reactor coolant pump), to prevent compromising the reliability in any anticipated conditions.

The reactor components, such as the reactor internals and control rod drive mechanism, should accommodate to the large capacity advanced reactor core aiming at the saving of uranium resources and the improvement of operating performance. Their high reliability has been verified by the performance tests.
